I'm not sure there are the words for how grateful I am for the Jan Allan team, but I'll give it a try.

I came in with a vague plan for an engagement ring using the stones from a family ring, looking for something that still said 'engagement' but was masculine and fitted my partners style.

Fiona and Kimberly gave me so much opportunity to talk through my options, listening and understanding our needs.

The end result, gorgeous, a beautiful piece combining everything we could have hoped for, I cried when picking it up and I'm so glad I went to such a homely team to get this done.

I had my grandmother’s ring resized at Jan Allan Jewellers, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I called, the store assistant (possibly the owner) was incredibly friendly and helpful. During my visit, the store attendant thoroughly inspected the ring and sized my finger, setting realistic expectations about the complexity of the resizing due to the size reduction. I felt very confident leaving my sentimental piece in their capable hands.

Just one week later, I received a call that my ring was ready for collection. The now ring fits perfectly and I can now wear it every day.

I highly recommend Jan Allan Jewellers to anyone in need of their services. Both store attendants I spoke to were friendly and knowledgeable, guiding me through the process.

I have been a customer of Jan Allan for over 30 years and the quality of jewellery and repairs are excellent. Everyone is so helpful and friendly which adds to the enjoyment of the shopping. The range of jewellery is brilliant and suits all age groups and price points.

My mum needed her wedding ring made bigger. Staff took time to make sure they knew exactly what she wanted. They re-engraved the ring and resized and it looks AMAZING! It's so shiny it's like molten gold. Brilliant job.

Great service from very helpful staff. I had earrings made to order which were exactly what I asked for. Will definitely return for any future jewellery purchases especially with the website now available for online purchases.

First off, the web site is easy to use with good photos of the jewellery and an easy online purchase process.
Previous to using the web sit, I have made several important purchases from Jan Allan Jewellers, engagement ring, wedding ring, eternity ring, earrings, bangles and necklaces.
On each occasion I have found the staff very professional, helpful and welcoming, in they're beautiful shop. It is a very personalised and enjoyable service.
All of my purchases have been of the highest quality as has the service. When buying, there is no pressure placed on the customer as you are allowed to browse, with the staff handy to answer any questions or allow you to view items of interest.
With regard to value, each item I have purchased, has been great value. I have purchased a wide range of items with regard to price. When buying more expensive pieces, after being shown the quality of gem etc, I have found the value offered hard to match.
This is obviously a very positive review but I, honestly, am unable to find fault. I would say, if you intend buying jewellery then you really should consider Jan Allan first.

We had our wedding rings made by Lesley and I also had my engagement ring reset. The finished articles were wonderful. Quick and professional service. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant family run jewellers. Recently got married and got a Tantalum wedding band which unfortunately was too big - it's a very unusual metal and 3 other jewellers contacted outright refused to even look at resizing this material.

Phoned these guys up and even though at the time they hadn't dealt with it, we arranged an appointment and it was resized within 30 minutes of arriving at extremely fair pricing - turned out it was totally fine to work with and not this alien metal all other jewellers wouldn't even give a chance to.

If you need tantalum ring resizing in Scotland or Glasgow area, this is the place to get in touch with.

They are also resizing my wife's platinum engagement ring and explained due to the diamond shoulders it had to be cut a certain way etc - very knowledgeable and very fair pricing on that too.

Overall can't fault a thing and both of us left the store really happy we found it and will absolutely be using it going forward.

My beloved rings were in need of major TLC. They have been professionally restored and cleaned and look brand new with all diamonds once again secure. I was running late to collect and they told me they would stay open to collect. First class work and customer service. They also completed my valuation for insurance.

Jan Allan took my beloved dads engagement ring with three garnets and turned it into a beautiful ring and a pair of earrings for me, I miss him terribly but with these he’s a part of me always! Worth every penny.

As always, very helpful in choosing a gift for my wife. Would not go anywhere else for very good quality , excellent value products. A final touch, they always wrap your present beautifully , which for a guy is brilliant!

So very helpful and a very pleasant experience . Supplied and fitted a watch strap which was an unusually small size and a colour which suited the watch. Could recommend this Jeweller to anyone.
